Hi Adam,
I just wanted to write and congratulate you on a terrific resource,
eTeach. As a graduating teacher I have spent alot of time
researching and studying the effects of classroom management in the
classroom. I have read it all, from Canter, Dreikurs, Nelson etc.
I can safely say that your teaching philosophies will be at the
forefront of my teaching next year. Ideas like, Do Now, Share/Pair,
Interaction Sequence etc etc are all effective ways to manage 30
different personalities effectively, without (and this is important)
resorting to reward-based discipline systems.
Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Adam,
Thanks so much. I found my way to the book. I have read it all and
am very impressed with such a "useable" resource. I am only sorry
that I didn't have it when I first began teaching. I would have been
a more effective teacher! I taught high school for 5 years and was
constantly looking for resources to improve my teaching strategies.
I am presently the Coordinator of Adult Education and Workforce
Development with the West Virginia Dept. of Education. I work with
our teachers in several different programs on instructional
strategies. I can see how I can be more effective in working with
them on curriculum delivery issues. I also believe in making
teaching and learning fun, the information applicable and student
learning at any age has to be participatory.
I will look into recommending your book to our teachers for elective
teacher certification purposes.
Thanks again,
Beth Vass-Lutz

Adam is a shining
star. He is one of those truly gifted
teachers that students love. Adam's passion for teaching and for the
content of his subject are inspiring. Recently, I observed a 90
minute social studies lesson in his classroom. The lesson was
flawless from beginning to end. Adam's lesson reflected his
knowledge of best teaching practices. He captured students' interest,
used a variety of instructional strategies, and checked for
understanding throughout the lesson. Adam is a gift to the
teaching profession. He is a "teacher leader" who is respected by
his colleagues, parents, and administration.

I worked with Adam for three years at
Springs School, and in my 19 years in education, I can honestly say that
Adam is one of the finest teachers I have met...To say that Adam is well
respected by the students, staff and community of Springs School is an
understatement.

students and staff are truly fortunate to have you as their colleague.
Thank you for all you do for them.

As a consultant to the education community I have recommended many
individuals to different positions in the field, and Adam is at the very top
of my list.
